I learned the lacquerware techniques in my hometown Kyoto. After my first solo exhibition in 2015, I started full-fledged creation of lacquer jewelry.

I've showcased my work in solo and group exhibitions. The impact of discovering "lacquer," something unfamiliar in my daily life, remains unforgettable. I strive daily, never forgetting those initial feelings. Since lacquer is natural, challenges arise even with consistent efforts. It's like dealing with an unpredictable lover... I enjoy these moments while creating every day.
